Values
We aim to treat the individual with respect whether it is an employee, supplier or customer. We aim to “behave” responsibly in relation to our environment. In practical terms, this means:
In practical terms, this means:
Employees: We show respect to our employees by treating everyone as equals. This happens through having a management that is involved and listens, a high level of safety, education, job development, employee satisfaction and equal opportunities. We have implemented LEAN throughout the Group and involve employees through weekly whiteboard meetings.
Customers/suppliers: We aim to respect agreements. We do this by placing great focus on delivering the right goods and services at the agreed time. For example, this means a daily management focus on delivery capacity.
Community: We comply with local laws including the payment of taxes and fees. We aim to be a good workplace in the local community and do not accept corruption or bribery as a means of doing business. We aim to support the weakest in society through agreements with among others DanChurchAid.
Climate & environment: We aim to take co-responsibility for Mother Earth by focusing on the climate and environment. This means a continuous focus on the consumption of resources, including CO2 emissions, through continuous improvements in production methods and workflows. In Tropica, for example, we collect rainwater and use it for watering in the nursery. In our wood supply business, we are both FSC® and PEFC certified.
